"I strongly believe in the magical power of word both spoken and written. The effects of resonance on the human body and psyche and the enchanting and enticing web of meaning found in any language, to me, is unquestionable. There have been countless powerful wordsmiths since the dawning of language that have moved masses of people to kill or be killed, to rebel or submit, to change the way we work and the way we think. For this reason I also believe there is a certain responsibility writers may take for what they write and say or sing.

The poetry I write, when not being simply reflective and cathartic, aims to be inspiring and uplifting, at times i will present an alternative view to the norm, hopefully a window to wider opportunities.

I am inspired by the world around me, the flight paths of starlings, people patterns and echoes of nature, other artists and scientists, taps dripping, trees growing, pollution poisoning, politicians pontificating and the silence at the dead of night when people sleep and meems creep."
